Long-time HWS member Jenn Myers from the Albuquerque chapter personifies the creative spirit of the society. This talented visual artist has launched her first Kickstarter project in support of All the Growing Things.

All the Growing Things is about the unusual adventures of Maude, an elderly gardener who battles a den of underground monsters that have been upsetting her garden. It’s a little bit Lovecraft, a little bit Dostoyevsky. It’s right in line with the interests of many members of the HWS!

Here’s Jenn’s summary:
“All the Growing Things started out as comic in my notebook. It has since grown from those early five pages into a webcomic with over 100 pages. The current issue is all set to wrap up, and when it does I will have enough content with additional pin-ups, sketches and notes to create a 148 page trade paperback comic book.”

We’re proud to recommend Jenn’s project. She has been a tireless member of the HWS for years, thrilling us with her grilled cheese sandwich recipes and ability to whisper to dogs in Latin. So, ladies and gentlemen, go check out All the Growing Things!
